• Mediversal Healthcare, founded in 2020, currently operates a 200-plus bed facility and provides specialized treatments in areas like orthopedics, cardiology, and neurosciences. The company experienced significant growth in FY24, with revenue rising by 30% to Rs 85.7 crore and achieving profitability.
• The funding will support Mediversal's plans for both organic and inorganic growth, including opening new hospitals to serve underserved communities and enhancing its technological infrastructure. This expansion is intended to bring dignified care closer to patients' homes.
• Kotak Alternate Asset Managers, part of the Kotak Mahindra Group, manages a diverse portfolio of assets and recently held the first close of its third healthcare and life sciences-focused private equity fund. This fund has a target corpus of Rs 1,600 crore and has already secured Rs 250 crore from various investors.
