• Veloce Fintech is nearing the final close of its second category-II alternative investment fund, which has a target corpus of Rs 300 crore, including a Rs 100 crore green shoe option. The fund has already secured commitments of around Rs 100 crore from family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, and business groups.
• The fund has completed its first close and is currently in the process of drawing down funds, with plans for further drawdowns in January and March 2026. Veloce Fintech intends to invest in approximately 25 companies through a mix of debt and equity, with cheque sizes ranging from Rs 3-15 crore.
• Veloce's investment strategy focuses on established companies with the potential to go public within three to four years, rather than cash-burn startups. The fund will offer structured debt, venture debt, direct equity, or compulsorily convertible preference shares.
• Veloce's first fund, launched in August 2024, achieved Rs 200 crore in commitments and was deployed across 25 companies in various sectors. With the launch of the second fund, Veloce's assets under management have exceeded Rs 300 crore.
