• QubeHealth, a healthcare payments startup, has launched its Series A funding round aiming to raise Rs 87-120 crore ($9.9-13.6 million) to expand its user base. The round is expected to include participation from existing investors, family offices, and financial institutions.
• The company, valued at Rs 270 crore post-money after a pre-Series A round, plans to raise capital at a 30-40% premium in this new round. The funds will be used to strengthen investments in AI-driven data sciences R&D, behavioral analytics, and bill adjudication technology.
• QubeHealth operates QubeHealth-Pay, a platform that allows users to pay medical bills at various healthcare providers using multiple funding sources, offering instant cashback and access to medical finance. The app has been purchased by over 300 large corporations, giving QubeHealth a base of over 200,000 paid subscribers.
• QubeHealth aims to increase its user base to 1 million Indian households in the next 24 months and expects to turn EBITDA-positive within 18 months. For FY24, the company's revenue improved about 23% to Rs 10.4 crore, with net loss widening slightly to about Rs 5 crore.
