• Systematix Corporate Services Ltd has achieved the first close of its India SME Growth Fund – Series 2, a Category I alternative investment fund, at Rs 101 crore ($11.4 million). The fund is registered with SEBI and aims to support small and medium enterprises.
• The fund received capital commitments from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporate houses, and non-resident investors. It is targeting a total corpus of Rs 125 crore, including a greenshoe option, with Systematix committing up to Rs 10 crore as a sponsor.
• Managed by Systematix Wealth & Asset Services, the fund will invest in growth-stage SMEs, companies preparing for IPOs, and businesses transitioning to the mainboard. This initiative marks Systematix's expansion into alternative asset management, focusing on the SME sector.
• Systematix Group, established in 1985, offers diverse financial services and caters to a wide range of investors with a broad network across India. The group is also expanding into other sectors, including affordable housing, with its acquisition of an 80% stake in Urban Affordable Housing LLP.
