• The merger will consolidate Girnar Insurance Brokers (InsuranceDekho), Girnar Finserv, D2C Consulting Services, and RB Info Services (RenewBuy) under Artivatic. Artivatic, an insurtech firm, provides API and SaaS tools for various insurance processes and has been supporting RenewBuy's backend.
• The combined entity will retain separate brand identities for InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy at the front end. The integration is expected to improve coordination across sales, underwriting, and claims operations.
• The merger, speculated earlier this year as a share-swap deal valuing the combined entity at Rs 7,400 crore, will be backed by investors including Goldman Sachs, TVS Capital Funds, Apis Partners, Dai-ichi Life, and 360 One. Other investors and shareholders of both InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy, including CarDekho, will hold proportionate stakes in the combined business.
