Manipal Health Enterprises, which went public earlier this month, will acquire the women's health unit of Kinder Hospital in Bengaluru, according to a stock exchange filing.

Manipal Health, which operates the Manipal Hospitals chain, has inked a deal with Kindorama Healthcare Pvt Ltd to acquire the entire operations of Kinder Women’s Hospital and Fertility Centre in Doddanekundi Industrial Area, Bengaluru.

Manipal Health is spending around Rs 130 crore ($13.5 million) in cash to acquire the hospital from its parent, which also operates Kinder Multispeciality Hospital in Kochi. The deal is expected to be completed within 90 days from the date of agreement.

Kinder Women’s Hospital and Fertility Centre was commissioned in 2022 and has 100 beds. It is part of the Kinder Medical Group, which focuses on women’s and children’s healthcare. In FY26, Kinder Women’s Hospital and Fertility Centre generated revenue of over Rs 20 crore.

Superhealth, which is building a network of hyperlocal hospitals, has appointed Dalvir Singh Suri, the co-founder of Dunzo, as its head of operations, the Bengaluru-based startup said in a statement.

The appointment comes around 10 months after the company opened its flagship hospital in Bengaluru. In March, it also kicked off its fundraising process and appointed an investment banker. Superhealth plans to set up 100 multispecialty hospitals across India over the next five-seven years

Suri brings nearly 17 years of experience in building and scaling operations. He co-founded Dunzo alongside Kabeer Biswas, Ankur Agarwal and Mukund Jha.

"I am really excited to have Dalvir (Singh Suri) join our mission and bring his unique expertise in building seamless digital and physical operations with (an) obsessive focus on customer experience as we scale Superhealth from our first hospital to 100 hospitals across the country,” said Varun Dubey, founder and CEO of Superhealth Hospitals.
