• Skipper Ltd is in advanced discussions for contract manufacturing arrangements with companies in the US, UK, and Poland. These partnerships aim to significantly expand its customer base in export markets.
• The proposed agreements could see Skipper become an exclusive or preferred OEM partner for large local manufacturers or EPC players in these countries. Potential revenue increases are estimated at $100 million annually from the US and GBP 20-25 million from the UK.
• These strategic partnerships are intended to increase Skipper's export revenue share to 50%, up from a currently negligible amount, and ensure a more stable order flow. This initiative is separate from planned marketing subsidiaries in the US, UAE, and Brazil.
• Skipper, a power transmission and distribution equipment maker, reported a total revenue of approximately Rs 4,625 crore in FY25 and has an existing order book of Rs 8,820 crore. The company operates in engineering, infrastructure, and the polymer sector.
