• The fund will focus on private credit opportunities in various infrastructure-related sectors across the Asia-Pacific region, including renewable energy, transport, and digital infrastructure. India is highlighted as a key market for this pan-Asian strategy.
• This commitment from AIIB follows the fund's first close at $300 million, with Keppel having committed $100 million as sponsor. The fund was launched in early 2024 with its $1 billion target.
• Keppel's private credit strategy, managed by its subsidiary Keppel Credit, provides bespoke loans to companies with infrastructure-like operating businesses in the Asia Pacific. The firm has a history of investments in Indian companies through its previous private credit funds.
