• India SME Investments has invested $10 million (Rs 90.1 crore) in specialty coffee brand Roastery Coffee House. This is the sixth investment from India SME Investments' second fund.
• Roastery Coffee House, founded in 2017, operates 15 outlets and has achieved Rs 100 crore in revenue as a bootstrapped venture. The brand focuses on directly sourcing beans from farmers and employing modern roasting techniques.
• The fresh capital will support Roastery Coffee House's expansion plans, aiming to open over 75 new cafes across India within the next three years. These new locations will integrate local flavors, ingredients, and design elements.
• India SME Investments' second fund, launched in 2024 with a target of $150 million, is also backed by the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund. The firm generally invests in early-growth SMEs in tier II and III cities across various sectors.
