• Accel initially invested in BlackBuck (formerly Zinka Logistics) over a decade ago through its fourth India fund, and later participated in subsequent rounds via both the fourth India fund and its fifth global growth-stage fund. The total investment across these two funds amounted to Rs 360.4 crore.
• Accel has been monetizing its BlackBuck investment since the company's IPO in November, selling shares through its fourth India fund and its fifth global fund. The India fund has realized Rs 341.9 crore so far, while the global fund has fully exited its stake.
• The fourth India fund has achieved a remarkable 48x multiple on its investment with an IRR of nearly 46%, while the fifth global fund has seen a much lower 1.4x multiple and a 5% IRR on its latest partial exit, indicating significantly divergent performance between the two Accel vehicles.
