• Alpha Wave Global and DigitalBridge Group are competing to acquire Carlyle's 24.04% stake in Nxtra Data, potentially valuing Bharti Airtel's data center arm at Rs 20,500 crore ($2.4 billion). Carlyle aims to exit for around Rs 5,125 crore ($600 million) after investing in Nxtra in 2020.
• Approximately 15 bidders, including Statkraft India, Tata Power, and Adani Green, are vying for Norwegian state-run Statkraft's India business, which includes a 2 GW renewable portfolio. Statkraft is seeking $1.5–2 billion for the portfolio, which consists of both operational and under-construction assets.
• Capgemini is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire outsourcing firm WNS Holdings Ltd, a company with over 600 clients across 13 countries. A deal could be finalized in the coming weeks, as WNS has been exploring a sale amid takeover interest.
• Urban Company has secured shareholder approval to raise around Rs 528 crore ($61 million) in primary capital through its planned IPO. The company is expected to file its draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India next month.
