• The Rabale MU1 Data Centre is located in a key data center cluster and has a 35 MW IT load capacity on a 13,154 sq m site, with construction beginning in 2024. It is designed with sustainability in mind, targeting IGBC certification.
• Investment banking firm Avendus has been mandated by ESR to find buyers for the data center asset. ESR also recently acquired 85 acres in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, for a new industrial park.
• The Indian data center market is experiencing significant investor and developer interest due to the expanding digital economy, tightening data protection regulations, and rising demand from AI and localization laws.
