• This surge in deal value was primarily driven by two substantial transactions, which together accounted for over 86% of the total amount. Brookfield India Real Estate Trust's acquisition of Ecoworld for approximately $1.5 billion was the largest PE-style deal.
• MoEngage, a marketing cloud platform, secured $100 million in a funding round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives and A91 Partners, valuing the company around $700 million. This round included both primary and secondary transactions.
• Merger and acquisition (M&A) activity remained subdued, with at least seven M&A deals reported but no significant large-ticket transactions. Notable M&A activities included Cipla's acquisition of Inzpera Healthsciences for about $12.5 million and Omega Hospitals' takeover of Cytecare Hospitals.
